Our client is a rapidly expanding multifaceted engineering company concentrating on fabrication and installation for the Power, Water, Mining Infrastructure and Oil & Gas industries. Our client offers a unique service using the latest technology making them leaders in their industry.

Due to rapid growth and diversification of the company’s area of expertise they are looking for an experienced Estimator to join an established team of excellent Estimators. The primary responsibility of this role will be to prepare quotes and tenders for a variety of fabrication and construction work including pipe spooling, structural steel, medium sized tanks and pressure vessels, plate work and site installation. In order to do this the role will join the current team of Estimators to be involved in the development of Project Estimation under the guidance of the Senior Estimator such as: project cost estimates; prepare quotation cost summary; submission letter; quotation documents; preparing material and sub-contractor takeoffs; prepare material and subcontract costs; estimate labour; supplier liaison; client liaison; prepare schedules and project opportunities in line with the company’s vision.

This position comes at an exciting time for the Company when it is planning to grow the revenues of the business to fill the greater capacity of new premises. This role has the ability to play a major role in these plans to expand and grow the company’s revenues.

This is a replacement position that would be suitable for someone from either a relevant trade background or a tertiary qualified person, with extensive mechanical hands on experience and has been working in a similar role and industry.

To be considered for this role candidates should hold the following:

  • Bachelor Degree or Relevant Trade Certificate.
  • 5 – 10 years industry experience in a similar role.
